I was constantly lonely before I started doing art. I used to go about my daily routine without talking to anyone and then when I got home I just sat in my room all day mindlessly browsing the internet and consuming various forms of media to numb myself to the isolation. Art has been my salvation in that regard. I still feel intense pangs of loneliness every now and then but doing art has lessened their frequency somewhat. Even though I’m very shit at it, I feel this sense of fulfillment when I’m making art. Maybe you feel lonely while drawing but it’s possible that you would feel even more lonely if you didn’t draw.
