how did you guys "learn" stylization? I've tried for a while to learn how to decently copy faces from reference, but I don't think it made me any better at drawing appealing stylized faces without a reference
the right side of pic related took me way longer than it should have and I still think she looks weird
should I be learning how to draw realistic faces without reference if that's not really my goal for how my art should look?
