You can feel free to tell him that as soon as AI will start to create porn the same legal framework will start applying to it as other porn and and as such will likely be facing restriction by governments all over the world. Just look at what is happening on Patreon right now.

This is just as simple the same way as how Google basically able to filter specific words in Youtube comments and videos. Do you think seriously think AI tools would be different? Do you seriously think big companies would not be capable of applying filters to stop AI tools to create NSFW material? Do you think all these "Free AI" software would be immune to all this? The world does not work that way at all. All these AI tools are still just tools and as tools do not have rights like people that can draw porn, they can be controlled and regulated. Furthermore it will only encourage such AI developers to put their Pron drawing software behind paywalls. Just like real people put their own work behind paywalls.

Trust me, if things truly get to the level that creating quality porn pictures is that easy governments and big tech companies will step up to limit it and or stop it.

You are incredibly stupid! If automation takes over menial jobs that means the majority of humanity will have NO JOBS! Therefore NO INCOME! Therefore NO MONEY! Therefore nobody will have the money to commission art or buy pretty much anything that requires all your precious human creativity, science and philo bullshit.

And no, the economy will not just magically adjust to create new jobs for all those useless people. It would take a hug deal of extra education that is already difficult to afford and years of study out of the workforce to get those people up. Economy does not work like that, economy work on efficiency as its name implies and human resources are by far the most expensive resources everywhere. Human resources are always the first to go and will always be the first to go as soon as they are marginally obsolete.

History is the witness that even during the industrial revolution which happened way slower than how today's world is progressing people didn't care even the slightest. That why there were riots, that is why there was poverty and a recession, that is why the communist revolution happened.
