>complimenting your little drawing, then asking for advice isn't respectful enough
Sorry anon but you have a pretty big ego to satisfy. I don't think I'll be needing your advice. Now run along, try not to be a mediator and participant at the same time next time.

Here's my observation.
Based on
>https://files.catbox.moe/y979l1.jpeg
Look at the very bottom left corner, you have no sense of balance for the lines you drew across the log. That's an issue with your eyes, they haven't been trained properly yet. Your eyes are most likely satisfied with mediocre works still because you are low beg.
Don't worry, I was like that also. Left was something I was mildly satisfied with and right was something I drew one month later.
My suggestion is to stick with traditional. I wasted a whole year doing digital on a small screen then after I switched to trad (pencil and paper) my progress went through the wall. This is because pencil gives way more mileage, as you make more strokes during the sketching time in comparison to stabilized one-stroke lines on digital. The progress I made in 1 month on trad was more than a year on digital.
Try improving your eyes, start by copying portraits and learning to measure and use effective plumb line tactics. Learn the basic rules of the head off Loomis/Huston (frontal face only) then you will be able to draw like me in a month. That way your line control and eyes have improved enough to prepare yourself for Drawabox, while also knowing for what purpose you are learning it for (it helps with figures and heads in different perspectives).
This might sound confusing to you but it's just a suggestion. Go ahead and do Drawabox though, but don't let it burn out your passion for drawing like does with many other people.

It's funny because you think I'm embarrassed rather than proud of my old works, which show how much I improved.
Now let's see how much you've improved, pyw.
