Indigo, I really don't know if I'm in a place to give any advice given my current skill level, but here's my two cents. I recommend you go through both Dorian Iten's "accuracy guide" and "how to draw". Then use the skills to draw from reference. Not once or twice or even a few times, but relentlessly, using these new skills and the old ones you learned in k2d. Then compare your mistakes to the reference, by overlaying your paper over the computer screen/book and tracing over your drawing with a red pen if you have to. Don't ever settle for "good enough" or "that looks close enough". Your hard work is admirable. Stay strong, friend.
