Much much better pose but you foreshortened the arm at the back at a greater magnitude than the rest of his body which makes it look distorted.
If you think of your panel as a photo lens, if the body is fairly close to the lens( AKA taking up most of the panel) the more you can get away with foreshortening and distortion, but the farther away it is, the more you have to keep the proportions accurate. The Cyclops looks like he is a fair distance away from the "camera" because of his relation to the gondola and the girl so making the forearm like 50 percent bigger should do the trick.
TL;DR
If you watch the video through the link it explains how objects closer to the viewer/camera will experience greater amounts of dramatic foreshortening compared to ones that are much farther, which get much less.
