will I fail if I copy other artists styles? there's some styles that I'd like to incorporate into my own work, but I feel terrible for doing it. I also don't want to end up like that one guy in the stylization threads that's just a bootleg murata.

why is it that whenever I talk to the art students at my college, they have never heard of Loomis or Vilppu or any of the techniques and methods they teach in their books? This is a serious fucking question. Am I wasting my time reading your dumbass sticky? Who has even benefited from that thing any way
