i think you could do with some more line confidence, though. maybe do some gesture drawings in ink/thick pencil. a lot of digital painters aren't super strong in the line department, but you're going for a more outline dependent vibe from a lot of your stuff

idk for video game portfolios, but for most portfolios, lots of life drawing. maybe drawings of objects or buildings or landscapes if you got em. real life shit that shows you actually know or want to know how to draw and don't just trace anime. if it's a vidya course, some photoshop digital paintings might help since that's the bread and butter of the industry, but they probably teach you that when you get in

bad advice. chicken scratchers need to be banned from using erasers. a lack of confidence and dithering over getting a drawing perfect is why their lines are shit, an eraser will only exacerbate the problem
