Hmm, maybe make one side of the central hill a bit darker than the rest, giving more volume to the whole shape?
Regarding the mountains, you could make them more varied (currently the whole left part have pretty much the same height). That's very good for beginner, the whole form is readable. The grass carpet in the bottom looks pretty flat, maybe you can add a shadowed area beneath the log to indicate that the grass goes down there, after resuming the horizontal position?
