This is nice, anon. Just by working more, you’ll eventually gain more control over your lines and proportions, and all the problems you’re facing now will solve themselves.

If you aren’t already, I also recommend a regular diet of master copies. Doing master copies, alongside drawing from life, will give you a multiplier effect, in terms of gains, because master copies teach you design in a way that drawing from life can’t.

I also think you should regularly do memory drawings, where after you copy a reference, you put away the reference and redraw it immediately, from memory. That’ll help enforce the shape language of human anatomy really well.
