So, I have some questions I hope someone can answer. For one, am I using layers right? I'm trying to use more layers since the pro's do it but I don't really know when to make a new one, especially in observational drawing.

Second, what is the best utilization of texture brushes? I was trying out some Kyle brushes for this study but I feel like I overdid it. I was using the dry and gouache brushes.

Any help appreciated.
