I think people just tend to assume anything referenced from animu is traced because that's what the majority of shit artists who think they are mangakas do nowadays. The very first drawing I was ever proud of was a shitty trace of Zoro from One Piece I did when I was in like 6th grade, but damn was I happy with it... Until someone called me out on my shit and I realized that you can't say art is really yours unless you change something about it. I can see what you changed though, the hair looks very different and some other details. Looks nice. Color it.
