For anyone on the Design a Vtuber challenge I recommend looking at the hololive wiki, they have tabs at the character portraits where you can see some of their different outfits

Most vtubers have at least 2 outfits, which sometimes change their look and colours completely (see Uruha Rushia going from short hair, green and blues to pink haired goth) plus seasonal or special event costumes too

You can also just search "hololive new outfit" on youtube. Whenever a new one is revealed they'll zoom in and go through the details on stream, and sometimes have the character designers input on why things are the way they are. Nijisanji is another vtuber company but I don't know if they change costumes as much.
