i've located some nib alternatives. first there is this one from shapeways. it says it's made of nylon

https://www.shapeways.com/product/6MWPXFX66/wacom-intuos-pro-pen-2-nibs-80pcs-lifetime-set?optionId=64490778

you can also get an ABS rod 1mm in diameter. the thin shaft of the pro pen 2 nibs are .97-.98mm in diameter. i don't know how tight the tolerances are but it should be pretty easy shave off .02mm of material with some super mild sandpaper. it doesn't have the big end though so i'm not sure if that interferes at all. i'm interested in getting the shapeways ones since nylon is such a great material. i don't want to get anything extra though until i've used the regular nibs up
