My gestures are lame. And I have to take one minute rather than 30 seconds to have enough time to get the whole figure. That must mean I'm doing it wrong, right?

I'm not sure what the right approach to this is. I pretty much just make a very basic construction of the figure and then try to make the lines imply as much depth and motion as possible. But they look terrible.
