That is because there is a build up, a story, and something you may read and relate to with others. Yuri goes into great detail with story telling, the community is heavily involved with reading and appreciate the nuances of character development this isn't your usual goon slop there's a great deal of finesse behind the intricate writing and illustrations that capture a mood and how the figures heavily interact with each other. That is what I am trying to put a point of emphasis in the yuri general thread to try and motivate others to start describing what figures are doing, communicating, and most importantly how figures are read by the viewer instead of the 1girlwhitevoid floating in space doing fuckall.
