Hyperbole aside, I really dislike the early artwork of Rumiko Takahashi too.
It just looks amateurish and sloppy. The colors are garish and the lineart is wobbly, not to mention the faces she puts on her characters seem smug and whinny most of the time.
Her new artwork is just bland.
