I did a study of one of Lofi's paintings. I did some small studies of Iben Krutt's work earlier in the week which were fun, but I think I prefer the rougher and livelier brushwork in Lofi's work. I want my work to be much looser than how I painted the raccoon one above

thanks, I agree about the eyes. now that I look at it, they're very uncanny. not animal-like, but not cartoon-y either. I'll be sure to exaggerate them more in the future to avoid that.
