How do I get better at holding an image in my mind’s eye? As soon as I look away from the reference I can’t remember what it looked like well enough to draw it, I’m constantly dependent on looking at the reference every other second

I love inking/lineart. Like, really love it. It soothes me, it puts me into a trance.
the problem is that I'm not good at composition/anatomy myself. so no matter how good my inking is the drawing is still trash.

so if anyone wants, post your sketches that you'd like inked here and I'll consider inking it/linearting it (digital). just keep in mind, it might take a while and it might not be anything that good.

I know it sounds sketchy (kek) and I could easily steal your art, right. I have nothing to prove against that except my word that I won't nor really want to. it's all up to you.

I'm just really bored and love doing this stuff. thank you.

hey now, my landscapes have gotten way better. and my portraits dont look like complete downers anymore either.

but you raise some good points about edge control. i dont think ive ever studied for that specifically besides doing it studies where its required but i dont actually think about it. desu desu that painterly look seems like thats really end game tier though. im not sure what you mean by something being overly drawn yet still symbol drawn
