I would say you are not... you should try to only use thick lines for things that are part of the foreground or that you want to make stand out...

but I think that doesnt really apply to ur drawing anyway, u should maybe keep the thick lines on her outline and have done thinner lines inside or something... hope it helps.

as for using black I think its okay...
