I think when you get older, you start to notice the patterns in things. the idea that your experience isn't fabulously unique isn't so scary as your teenage angst, crying for individuality, thinks it is.
I began as (the sun), just couldn't put a pencil down as a child, and because I have an astigmatism and one eye near sighted and the other far sighted, 2D planes made a lot of sense to me, like paper! Reality, less so.
Then in middle school I drew a lot of manga, and let's be honest, I was a thirsty guy I was definitely coordinating sitting next to, and trying to impress the girls with my skills. (Lovers)
Funny enough, a girl who to this day loves my art (who sat behind me in 9th grade) and somehow we later dated in college (still somewhat friends to this day) She noticed some anime face graffiti I had spraypainted the night before, on a dumpster, while we were walking. Without knowing that I had drawn it, she turns to me and goes "Wow! look at that graffiti! Isn't it cool?" to which I replied "Heh, yeah I actually made it!" It was the first time I'd ever felt, (strength) that to make Art, and truly put it out there, you have to be strong mentally and emotionally. Vulnerable even., but if you're good or even decent, sometimes it just takes time the right person to show you an entire universe of thought you never considered, or feelings you never felt.
Nowadays, I feel like the fool. That art is, what it is. It's nothing special to the artist if you're good, because hey, it's just what I do. The sublime is ordinary to me.

Lastly, all of the pokemon were heavily considered at many levels as to who should be which arcana, so I'm glad someone appreciated that :)
