I met someone like you once sometime ago. Stereotypical lazy borderline psycho with an ego up the roof and a victim complex, always lying, always trying to deceit with his good-two-shoes snake moves. I utterly loved watching his weak and fragile being break every time I succeeded academically, or socially despite how much he tries to smear me down.

Is it a waste of time to do portraits, or are they a good way to practice fundamentals? I am not sure if I should be doing gesture drawing, perspective or anatomy studies instead

Is learning to draw from life, non-digitally, the way to go to git gud at drawing? Should all my efforts go into that?
