Not a good simplification of the head to study as a beginner. There’s too much going on. It’s not basic enough.

There a different versions of the planes of the face and body.

The Asaro head actually shows two different versions of the planes of the face. The right side is more simple than the left side. Also, the left side has the eye close.

According to the instruction booklet for the Asaro head, you are supposed to pick the side of the Asaro head that most resembles the face you are looking at.
