I want classical art on my walls but prints disgust me and I don't have a lot of money.
Basically I want a hand-painted, genuine Bouguereau on my wall for 1,5k or preferrably less.

It just so happens that the Chinese sell hand-painted copies on eBay for $100. The catch is, I have no idea what the finished product will look like.
Any of you have experience with these? I want to have some idea of how good it will look. I'm way too discerning for my budget. I could also try finding an amateur painter but if they're as good as I want them to be, they won't even pick up the brush for $1.500. Sigh.
