Hey guys. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question
But is gesture really THAT important?

I've been working through hampton and doing his gesture is really busting my balls.
I just want to start grinding figures already

Maybe I'm too stupid for gesture but how is it going to help me draw complete figures?
I know it helps with breaking out of stiff poses and portraying movement and all of that.

Do I have to actually stick through it or is there a different book that doesn't involve gesture? because I might be a tad too stupid for that
