Seems to me people don't understand the implications of what Pixiv did. They didn't ban AI art. On the Contrary: they allowed and codified it.

Thats the end of the good news. Now to the bad and most important:
>You have MANUALLY opt out of showing AI content
Only 1%, maybe even less, will do this. People are lazy. That means 99% of users will still see AI "art" along human made art. The site will be saturated and the volume of AI "art" will increase simply because it takes less time to generate than draw by human. Second:
>When you opt out it says "display fewer", not "don't fucking display any of that shit"
AI generated content will still be displayed sometimes even when you opt out. The only guarantee you get is it won't be displayed on the main page.
Listen I know Pixiv is practically dead but the rest of the websites will eventually follow the suit. Stop sitting around thinking it will pass. It won't if you don't defend yourself.
Also as an analogy, did you know that chicken used to have taste? Before the chicken growing became a huge factory like industry, chicken indeed had taste. But then the corporations came, and industrialized the whole process, fattening chicken on garbage food, which resulted in chicken that weight more, are raised faster and taste like nothing. As a result entire generations now believe that chicken is supposed to taste like nothing, when it's not the case and some enthusiast farmers even prove it, but they're only handful per state and serving like 1% of the market, usually the rich ones. However factory raised chicken is what 99% of people eat. Same might happen to the art.
