Beginnerfag here.
I heard that you don't need that much skill to illustrate a kid's book, and I've been thinking of writing one to get some cash.

Is there anything I should work on and how to fix them?

Also a bit of a tangent, but I'm using photoshop elements, is it better to get photoshop cs to make better illustrations or does that come from practice of using whatever photoshop?
