First of all your pose looks stiff, idk what your process was but when you're doing something like this first decide what your workspace will be, define where your horizon is.

Then make a very quick gesture dummy to get a better idea of what you're trying to achieve with the pose, imitate the pose in front of a mirror and try to remember that.

Start from basic anatomy, the main masses of the body paying attention to the relationship of size between them, I think Loomis goes over that.

Next comes the muscle anatomy, for now i recomment you find the soultions that work for you and try to synthetize the limbs, core and head to simple shapes.

If the first steps were done right everything should just fall in place as you move on.
