It's my favorite fighting game of all time, but I would never recommend it to casuals. It's definitely catered to competitive players. Imagine a smash that was developed by people who actually like to have fun. It still has an active playerbase. I will admit the game does have some SJW pandering BS (it's minor, just some flag icons) and most of it's community are furries but it's a damn good game.
