Shad is a bad artist. It's not a matter of "talent" but sheer attempt to get or be better. It honestly doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing half the time and the quality of his art, the little that there is, spikes constantly. Almost every other artist featured on his site is better than him. I don't dislike him at all as a person, he's probably a nice guy going off of the few times I've heard him on sleepcabin, but he's not a good artist (nor do I believe he claims to be), but really his popularity doesn't come from his art skill, it comes from the NG crowd, his circle of friends, and drama.

Personal opinion on his art though, it's disgusting looking and I don't see how anybody can fap to it. There's a shit ton of other better western artist who draw way hotter shit, his stuff has a disgusting aesthetic to it.
