I make art like that anon, and I also wonder why ngigas like it, the appeal seems to be readability. It is the digital equivalent of pen and ink's readability where the severely limited output of the tool forces an organizational strategy to the whole piece that increases readability. It also makes working easier, so think of it a bit like Gouache, the shitty parts are the point.
