Id focus on paint, you can get some good quality stuff on amazon. Liquitex or something. I went with a pack of winsor and newton for about 60 bucks but theres cheaper. For canvases i just had a big wood board cut into pieces for like 26 bucks, that gave me a lot of painting surfaces. You have to gesso them though, theres tutorials. The brushes are for me the least important, i get them from the dollar store and they can be pretty good quality
