hey anon, another anon here but just keep drawing. I'm not the best either, but if you keep going you'll be alright. The reason someone thought it showed you being stuck in symbol-drawing-mode is because you're not really looking at your subject. I've pointed out some "landmarks" or key things that you can look at to check your drawing vs your subject.
