I don't know if this is a good idea but I'm trying to learn anatomy and proportions by copying the refs, mostly the general shapes, then draw them again completely from memory. The one on the right is my attempt at a sketch from memory in 10 minutes. I'm aiming to do as many as possible of those instead of perfect accuracy
