Yeah it sucks, I understand why the redditor feels this way. But maybe it's time to re-evaluate why you got into art in the first place?
There's a distinction between illustration and art. AI threatens *certain* types of illustration. But it can never threaten art, which is personal expression.
I know /ic/ is illustration-centric, but there is something to take from the fine art world, even though you might think a lot of it is bullshit. It's immune to technological disruption because it doesn't even play that game.
