i made an account on the .art fork of mastodon, i think they're well intentioned but they can be pretty annoying. people lowkey shaft you if you forget to format shit for blind people (there is a way to add an image caption on the official website, but some mobile/web clients dont support the feature), and caring about artistic improvement doesn't seem encouraged like the rest of the internet these days. theres also like some intense liberalism shit and furry faggotry going on but its like, on the fringes and not directly in your face unless you actively seek it out.

on the plus side, people will usually respond to the shitpost comments you leave on there work and joke along with you, which is nice i guess?

all in all wouldn't recommend until the community becomes a little larger and less cucked.
