use references for things you cant get to look right, and study construction to learn more about how those refs work
(example- copying a shoulder muscle, then studying how said muscle actually works). for construction, i really like Michael Hampton's books. but any number of teachers mentioned on /ic/ will do.

but the most important thing for you now is to draw often. don't kill yourself with studies- there's no point to getting good if you grow to hate the process
