You have these really jarring hard edges and soft transitions. The lighted sides make it seem like the material is metal, and the lighted desaturated patches make it seem like it's painted camo.

Also consider that rock walls aren't made from one giant rock broken into a bunch of pieces. Even in a rock wall that looks like it's made from the same rock, the people building it probably pushed them in at random, so raised edges are very rarely consistent from rock to rock.
