>pleasant, quiet morning
>can hear my cat snoring, wind blowing in the trees
>time to start studying
>load up my bookmarked video course, load up my drawing programs
>SLAM
>SLAM SLAM SLAM SLAM
>loud music starts blasting, shitty pop music reverberates through my body, windows rattling, computer screen is literally shaking
>upstairs neighbors are awake for another alcoholic binge, won't be able to hear my own thoughts until 2am when they finally quiet down

is anyone else here hampered from progress because of their need for an absolutely quiet and still environment?
