This heap of shit is what you get when you try to brute force art with no technique
I try to practice art copying what I see, trying to looking at other art or in this case a picture I took, and trying to paint it

The values are all fucked up and unfixable - how do you even know your values are fucked up before it's way too late?
I can't even get started without values being totally wrong - even when I color pick directly from the source....

How do you paint tall grass?
Why did I draw things I didn't see at all in the picture, i.e the vines in the foreground look like fucking squid tentacles

Dead trees should be easy as shit, they're just made of squiggle lines and yet, these are fucked up too...
