Art is much more of an intellectual activity, conservatives and poltards don't tend to be very intellectual.
Art is not a process, rather it's an expression that has a lot of complex decision making and higher level understanding of things like the phenomenon and more abstract topics that academics have trained in or understand. I cringe whenever people go on about le STEM, because a lot of it is very process based and formulaic (engineering is the most intelligent of the STEM fields and its the closest to the arts - and a lot of engineering is very much like design). Those things can be taught, where art can't be taught.

/pol/ and the right are the best example of dunning-kreuger in this respect where they think that they are well beyond the 'libtards' with simple views of the world that have no notion of nuance or conceptual/abtract/high level academic concepts/critiques.

>this triggers the poltard

Jazza and Crilley is good because all they're doing is making less competition for the rest of us.
