I've started a Dishonored fan comic and would love to become a better comic artist in general.

Does anyone has an idea or tip how to improve? I feel like running flat against a wall. I don't even know what's my own issue with my stuff but something disturbs me horribly... it just always looks so... unprofessional. I just started to experiment with the shading, so I know that might look odd here and there.
