I'm buying furniture for what will be my """studio""" and I wanted to know if anybody has any tips and dos and don'ts about buying a desk that I plan to do a lot of digital painting on?

Space is relatively limited as he room is thin and long and the desk has to be parallel to the long wall, window is on the left when facing the way the desk will face, in case hat changes anything

Should I get a raised platform for my laptop so I have more space for the tablet?

Any tips are more than welcome
