No, it's established in the setting of the game I'm working on that fashion is very important so it plays a big role on some of the characters, no matter how different it makes them look (so basically everyone's very superficial)
And you're right! That would look weird irl, I'll make it so her sweater isn't tucked in because I really wanna keep the stirrup leggings.

Also how's this? After making them such a bold color it's kinda hard to not see them opaque when toning down the color.
