Still struggling to grasp Loomis' head technique. Everyone's saying it's the easiest to understand, but it's like a really hard math problem I just can't figure out despite how many times people explain it.

I've started to draw heads with a reference but looking at it as little as possible, then laying it beside/over the original image and see where I was off. Hopefully this will help me spot trends in what is too big/small/long. Every drawing makes me want to blow my brains out, yet I keep doing them.

Any other anons struggle to understand Loomis, despite him being babby's first drawing from imagination book? I feel like the fucking special ed kid in an AP class.
