Just read the nazi book, I feel Hogarth draws way more folds than real fabric would get for clearer examples but otherwise he makes sense.

My honest advice is to read the sticky. Contained within it are numerous books, but what you want most are those by Andrew Loomis. Start off with "Fun With a Pencil". This teaches you the basic construction methods that are necessary for all methods of drawing. After that, study his book "Figure Drawing For All It's Worth." This will teach you how to properly and flawlessly draw people.

While you're studying, post your work into the /Beg/ general, and ask for criticism. Other artists here will tell you where and how you need to improve. When you know what to fix in your drawings, fix it.

Most of all, draw for fun. Just have fun drawing. The trick is that when you draw, take note of everything you're drawing that looks wrong, then either study Loomis or Proko or some other professional artist to learn how to draw it correctly, or ask for help here (in the /Beg/ general), and we'll help you out and tell you what to do. If you repeat this process, and make sure to study, you'll be a professional artist in no time. I sincerely hope this helps.
