I improved a lot when I 'humbled' myself. I went back to Vilppu's basic gesture and "spherical forms" lessons. Turns out those basic lessons were the ones I needed most. Remember: "The fundamentals ARE the advanced class"

Honestly the best advice I could give is just hold on to your money until you can get a decent tablet.
100$ is a starting point, really. And in a field as competitive as digital art you really need something standard. Unless you can draw like KJG and render like Ruan Jia, you're not gonna get anywhere with a shitty tablet bringing you even lower than what you're at.

Best advice is just keep drawing traditionally until you can get a proper start. Time spent figuring out how a 10yo old used tablet works is better spent perfecting your craft
