what do you do when you are feeling really down about your art? i feel that my art has no face no energy

Sounds tough to pull off. I could barely get my previous girlfriend to pose for me, she never felt like it, despite being a huge Titanic fan.

I only feel so entitled cuz I used to have an online m8 who lived in Canada, near a college that had FREE figure drawing sessions EVERYDAY. He had a blog and posted tons and tons of live figure drawings and got really good at construction and whatnot.

But that was all he ever did, just post figure sketches, and never did any other art. It's unfair, if only I had that same kind of resource, I would take it so much further
