Could it really be just discipline or is it just they want to get in working at a big name studio because every other Asian boy here in the states and all over the world wants in at the 6 figures job drawing for Film and games? Yes discipline is required-- I mean you have to have it because you're burning daddies wallet to go to an expensive school. To put this in perspective...not only are the Asians competing for their own industry but Hollywood as well.

Does /ic/ not realize just how much competition there is? You're competing against young students who put in 10-16 hours a day everyday drawing who come here on student visas to take your job (as if /ic/ had a chance anyway). Of course this board wants to just do their own thing, market their own stuff and patreon whatever but you're still going to be vastly behind people who are putting in the hours. The elephant in the room is you're going to be way behind all these students.
