Depends. Is the full shape there supposed to be the head shape, or is this more of a "mask"?
Your hatching is arbitrary as hell. Look at the pic's thumbnail there and tell me what the hatching conveys. Unless you were going for "acne-ridden burn victim", then it's wrong. Use the density to define shadows, and the direction to trace out depth; don't just throw them around wherever.
